SHAH ALAM: More pictures of Bukit Lan­jan assemblyman and state exco member Elizabeth Wong have surfaced, barely a week after she had resumed both her positions after a short hiatus.

Wong had gone on a two-month leave in February after revealing pictures of her found their way to the media early that month.

The latest pictures, made available on the Internet, showed Wong sound asleep.

Asked for her comments yesterday, Wong, who appeared calm and composed, said she had done what was necessary by lodging a police report two months ago when the pictures first surfaced.

She declined to comment further when met at an investiture ceremony held at the Dewan Jubli Perak here.

Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said he would ask the police to do the necessary.

“For those who have the pictures, it is their social responsibility to give it to the police because it is considered an offence.

“They can give it to me and I’ll pass it to the police,” he said after presenting RM2mil to Chinese schools in Selangor.

Khalid reiterated that the circulation of the pictures was an intrusion of Wong’s privacy.

Exco member Iskandar Abdul Samad said the culprits should stop their dastardly act as it would not scare Wong off.

“She is a strong person and she can see herself through this. She has been carrying out her duties since her return and faced everyone,” said the PAS man.

Wong resigned as an exco member and assemblyman after pictures of her first surfaced.

However, the state turned down her resignations and directed her to report to work last week.

today i saw a very mad person. location - undisclose.

he is a very young chinese boy, at his age of maybe 19-21.keep begging people to let him sleep @ other peoples premises. Accoding to the staffs, he has been wondering around the last few days.

looking at him, he has clothes and a proper specs, but he doest talk, just showing sign language of him wanting to sleep. Maddness!

Why would he do such a thing? i mean he looks pretty well normal kid. I guess he is lost...

maybe its because of his family problems? running away kid? or maybe cause of love? coz he does seem to have money. flashing his maybank card and his dressing doesnt seem like he is homeless kid.. or maybe he works in a mad company. which causes employees to go mad!... needless to say, there are many of you who knows what i'm talking about...coz when a company doest love its employees, they do tend to go crazy whacky! its true!

so pls what ever reason it is, dont go and do something mad or be MAD alright!

BANGKOK: Malaysians have been advised to consider cancelling any plans to visit Bangkok, in view of the escalating tension between the government and supporters of ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

The Malaysian Embassy here said they should stay away from the capital and five provinces which were under a state of emergency unless really necessary.

The advice comes as Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban announced that police and soldiers, deployed to more than 50 areas, have been given the go-ahead to use force to bring peace and normalcy to the capital.

An embassy official advised Malaysian tourists in Bangkok to exercise caution. The embassy, which is located in Sathorn Road, will set up a 24-hour operations room to monitor the situation and provide advice to Malaysians in Thailand.
