A General that worth understanding..

This is one general that is worth understanding his history a lil more!

i respect this General!! he is my idol.

HEre is his story

Guan Yu, whose date of birth was unknown and who died in the year 220, was a prominent general of the Shu Kingdom in the Three Kingdoms Period.

The last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty witnessed a chaotic social order and the fighting of various military forces with one another. The three heroes Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Liu Bei swore brotherhood and joined the political and military fights. At first, they settled in Cao Cao’s camp. Then having their own force, they founded the Kingdom of Shu against countless difficulties from an unnoticeable team to an influential kingdom. Finally, the Kingdom of Shu formed into a military force that was able to confront the Kingdoms of Wei and Wu, thus the well-known situation of the coexistence of Three Kingdoms took shape.

History books have it that Guan Yu was brave and skillful in battle, outstanding in battle achievements, and loyal to his old master. At that time, Cao Cao thought highly of him and wanted to take Guan Yu into his service. He offered official posts and wealth for Guan Yu, trying to win him over by any means. Yet Guan Yu was not tempted. The only master he acknowledged was Liu Bei, his old master. What a loyal and valiant man!

As time went by, Guan Yu’s merits were praised and exaggerated, especially in the famous historic novel The Romance of Three Kingdoms. In that book, his anecdotes were told vividly and finally became splendid stories known to every household. Take the story of Scrape the Poison off the Bone for example. It is told that Guan Yu was wounded by an arrow in a fierce battle, and when Hua Tuo, a well-known doctor in ancient China, treated his poisonous wound by curettage, Guan Yu was reading as usual instead of groaning painfully. Another story has it that he defeated the enemy’s general and took the latter’s head back and that the wine given by Cao Cao was still warm. In these stories, Guan Yu’s heroic and brave image was vivid and impressive.

Features embodied by Guan Yu, loyalty, bravery, benevolence and faithfulness, accorded with the orthodox ideas of the ruling class, and were appreciated by common people as well. Therefore, he was commended by the following rulers of later dynasties and regarded as “the Saint of Force”, on parallel with Confucius “the Saint of Culture”. Gradually, Guan Yu was treated as a deity. On the traditional drama stage, he took a positive role with a red face and manly whiskers. In the past, there were many temples of Guan Yu of different scales throughout China. While people were singing praises for him, they wished that he could protect the local social order for them. So far, among people of Chinese origin all over the world, especially among merchants, the tradition of worshipping Guan Yu has remained. Perhaps it is because the features of loyalty and faithfulness embodied by Guan Yu tally with the way to do business.

this are the things i did wrong... i always treated my workers like family... and it turns out SouR!

coz they keep thinking erm.. if i dont come to work, its ok my boss will cover,..

Hsving a business at this age is COOL! and running it is even more fun! as we are the boss ! wooo!

the negative part about running a business is the cashflows! CASHFLOWS!

there are often time where its more negative than positive...coz of the flow is inconsistence and it really SUCKS big time!

plus, we cannot spend the money we earn in the business... why?? u may ASK!

the answer is simple, we dont know when is good times and bad times, coz we are not A BIG COMPANY THAT HAS MILLIONAIRS SHAREHOLDERS..we are sole idiots that runs the busienss.

so when times are bad, we need to COVER...when times are good we need to KEEP!

See.. coz rainy days comes very often, and sunny days doesnt come all days long!

Business in any kind, still faces the same problems, we dont know if tomorrow is going to be a good sales day or a fuck up day...

so the cycle comes and moves against the hours of our business.

so many things in life for me today has been limited. TRUST ME. limited!

back 1 year ago, i was living the life of any teen and doing the things that we classified as COOL!..but now, i really cant say i do those things anymore, due to financial constraints, and too freaking many commitments in my daily routine!

everything i do today, would reck the days after.

I cannot afford myself to go enjoy anymore, and only capturing myself to be more financial prudent. aihks!

i rather spend the money for my loves... then spending it on me, coz i feel its really not worth it doing it for me self! yeah ME SELF! coz i could use it for my commitments in life.

today for example, i spend my parents for a body massage, but i lied to them that they have to start the massage first, as i will do a leg massage.

soon after they went in, i left the shop! and chiill at home till the massage times up! and went to pick them back....!

they were shick to notice that i dint not enjoy the massage and they did! Coz i truely believe in one thing, as long as they are happy i am happy too!

coz my self, dont need to be place for the enjoyment part as yet, as i am trying to make my saving back to where it was back then! as now it has fallen! and trying to rebuild my savings!\

everyone i know simply thinks that business is a very simple and profitable thing.

but the truth is hard to accept. Why ?

first of all, people who thinks that ur running a business is a BOSS. Now everyone mentality thinks that BOSS = LOTS OF MONEY.

Being a boss is really tough, because we need to ensure our workers gets their salary on time, and the business have enough operating cashflow to make business.

when people look at my business, they do tend to think that i'm making alot of money, due to the fact there are always alot of people in my place.

now lots of people doesnt necessary generates Sales - WHY ??
cause if the people are only just enjoying the aircond, the internet and the sofas...its not going to help me move the cashflow to positive, RIGHT?

then again, u have customers that comes in with one drink that lasts the whole day! now that is another problem, due to the lack of movement within the shop!

then u have customers that comes in and shares drinks with 3 people...... hmmm

then u have customers that i lable them as "FREE RIDERS"... JUST SURF THE NET AND NOT ORDERING!

then u have customers that comes to just accompany the friends...that takes up my table and chairs...which are limited...

then u have customers that purchases OUTSIDE drinks and food , and yet they chill out at your place....

SO this adds up of negative cashflows!

BEING a boss, u need to think of RENTAL, ELECTRICITY, INTERNET, WATERBILLS, PHONEBILLS, COST OF INVENTORIES, SALARY AND ALSO CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION.

thats alot of cash we are talking about! the OVERHEADS~

so does this means being a BOSS IS so damn GREAT>??

i guess not. from my own experience!

---u see now, why workers are better off! cause even if the company is not making money..they get PAID ON TIME! and it does not reflect on them at all, not even a bit!

they have less work, but same pay!

workers does not need to think about cash flow! they only THINK ABOUT THE SALARY DATE!

now i'm going to tell u something about helping>

whether u like it or not, helping people is a great thing to do. but when things happen not to the point, people that u helped will turn back and bite YOU! yes. its true.

example, lending ur friend some money....later on the person doesnt pay u back, then it damages ur pocket and also ur friendship.

now if u helped, and the person took the money and do idoitic stuffs that got them ito trouble, the blame u ! see why u lend me the money! if not i would not have got my self in this shit!

now if u DID not CHOOSE TO HELP. then, your friend will stop relationship with you and even gossip things about how bastard u are! and so on!

example 2. when u introduce people to help each other, a trade. S needs help and asked ur help. u cant help... then u ask R to help. now this makes them overly excited...then in between something happen, GREED, and lies comes into play.. the ship sinkED! and now R and S blames You for it! saying why in the world u introduce them together..and ur liar..ur took this u took that... but in between, its the problem both parties has..and has got nothing doing with YOU!

so now they are trying to damage each other and burns the heck out of YOU..

Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite's football career was nearly over before it began. At 15-years-old he fractured a vertebra when jumping from a springboard into a pool. Paolo Maldini

Despite hitting the age of 30 before the decade had even begun Paolo Maldini remained the outstanding defender of the noughties and only called time on his distinguished career in the summer of 2009, having made over 800 appearances for AC Milan. If Maldini were to put his medals on the table it would have to be reinforced; the defender has won 27 club titles, eight of those in the past ten years.

Often described as an 'exquisite' defender, Maldini brought a certain grace to the destructive art and in his younger days wasn't shy of galloping down the wing to augment the Rossoneri attack. The former Italy captain learned his trade playing alongside probably the best defender of them all, Franco Baresi, so it no surprises that he went on to such great achievements. In 2003, he lifted the European Cup as captain of Milan exactly 40 years after his father Cesare, another great defender in the club's history, accomplished the same feat. Given Messi's meteoric rise to fame with Barcelona it's easy to forget that the pint-sized Argentinean actually made his debut for the Catalan club back in 2004. Once in a generation a player comes along who seems to take football on to a new level and at the beginning of the Noughties that man was Zinedine Zidane. He had of course being wooing crowds at Cannes, Bordeaux and Juventus prior to his 2001 world record €78 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2001, not to mention winning the odd bauble with France

In 1998 Zidane scored twice in the World Cup final as Les Bleus won football's most prestigious trophy and began the decade by winning Euro 2000. today is one of the greatest sunday i have ever had, due to the extreme relaxing day i am having. no work today, its been a very long time since i dont have to work on sundays..and today i took it and riding the sunday funtastically!

sleep more than 15 hours today! and its so energy charging! feels like my battery has been recharged! saturday was a great day too.....rest and relax! now i finally get back the feeling of a weekend! even for today as 1 day.. i am contented!

one uncle told me, babytt you need to rest and sleep well enough.. everyday u are lack of sleep and during the time u sleep its about 5am 6 am then wake up and operate your business for another 14 hours per ...where is the happy and relaxing time for u?

a person when have enough sleep and relaxing time, would be much fresher and can perform things faster plus the mentality is fresh. the DAy would be so much more happier and brighter, that we can solve problems efficient!

so many young people are attracted to play with that game, everyday i see people netting to play the game! i think that the youngsters are getting some crazy feelings about playing the game!

i asked a few people already, they say they are practising to play, so that they can go up with any casino and win mega Bucks!

they are really going insane into thinking that they are training now with the facebooks and winning millions of facebook money is going to make them rich in casinos! my oh my!

this got to be really MAD! they ought to stop playing it! serious and period!

STOCKHOLM: Ikea, the Swedish furniture chain, said Sunday it never expected such a backlash after switching typeface in its latest catalog.

The company's decision to make its first such font change in 50 years - from the iconic Futura typeface to the Verdana one - has caused a worldwide reaction on the Internet.

The catalog, which the company advertises as the world's most printed book, was distributed last month.

"We're surprised," said Ikea spokeswoman Camilla Meiby.

"But I think it's mainly experts who have expressed their views, people who are interested in fonts. I don't think the broad public is that interested."

Verdana was invented by Microsoft for use on a computer screen, not on paper.

Its wide, open letters with space between characters are designed to increase legibility on small computer screens.

Ikea said that in order to reach many people in many different ways, it needed a font that works in both digital and print media.

"Verdana is a simple, cost-effective font which works well in all media and languages," Meiby said.

But some Ikea fans were outraged, finding Verdana less elegant than Futura.

The online forum Typophile ended its first post with the words, "It's a sad day."

A week ago, Romanian design consultant Marius Ursache started an online petition called "Ikea, please get rid of Verdana."

On Sunday, the campaign had more than 2,700 signatures.

The move to a simple, modern-looking font also fueled Twitter posts such as "Ikea, stop the Verdana madness" and "Words can't describe my disgust."

Swedish art director Christoph Comstedt disagreed.

"I don't think the average consumer will react, maybe people in the advertising business," Comstedt said.
